Florists get into the world of fashion

The flowers Kent based florists have to play with give them room for some of the most creative pursuits in the world of floristry. So creative, in fact, that florists not only in Kent but around the country have been using blooms throughout the summer to create some rather remarkable dresses, hats and clothing accessories.

Almost every corner of the country seemed to have been getting in on the act as the best flowers Bath and those flowers Bristol had to offer were the subjects of equally innovative creations. The designs have made fans of fashion really stand out from the crowd because of their sheer originality. Flowery hats can make a real statement at any party or function.

Many of the hats and accessories were made entirely out of flowers, which meant that they were sure to turn heads wherever they popped up. Flower fans and fashionistas haven’t really got a reputation for mixing seamlessly, but these creations will certainly bring both worlds together.

Despite the fact that summer is over, these flowery fashion statements can warm up any room without fail. Florists around the country can also begin to plan their fashion accessories for next summer to keep the sunshine on their minds.

Such flowery designs were widely regarded to be most effective with simple outfits, as some unassuming yet rather impressive looks emerged in towns and cities across the country. Depending on the flowers, of course, the general consensus was that the hats worked best with plain dresses and the flowery dresses worked best without hats. A single hat would be a great accessory for an entire evening if it has been properly put together and maintained.

Flower shows throughout the summer around the country saw some fantastic designs that have been tipped to catch on next year, too. Mums at the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park even dressed their babies up in flowery hats and accessories this summer.

The fashion items are sure to attract wasps and bees as well as the eyes of flower and fashion fans around the country, but that won’t put the floral innovators of this world off.

If you would like to see some pictures of the dresses, hats and accessories that were on display to the public at Tatton Park, then log onto the Interflora website today. You never know, it might just inspire to get creative with your flower arranging next summer!
